Cycling in Geneva

I rented a touring bike for a day to explore the parks and coast of Lake Geneva. With many cycling paths and shared lanes in the region, the possibilities seemed endless. I spent the day leisurely exploring La Promenade du Lac, Quai Gustave-ADOR Quai Wilson, La Perle du Lac and even ventured as far as Versoix, located on the western shore of the lake about 10km from downtown Geneva.

Cycling in Geneva and the surrounding region was very enjoyable, although stressful at times in the down town core. For people looking for bigger rides, it seems like it would be easy to explore the entire coast of Lake Geneva by bike
