One Last Hurrah for les Montagnes Jura

With just three days left in my Europe Trip and no real plans for the time leading up to my departure date, I decided to head back towards Geneva and stay at my brother’s place, meet-up with friends I had made over a month ago, and continue exploring the Jura Mountains. As I admired a dramatic sunset from the Grottes de la Marie Jura I knew I had made the right decision by coming back. I spent my last day in nearby Lyon where I wandered the cobble-stoned streets of the Old Town and sampled some delicious traditional Lyonnaise cuisine. I took the early morning train to Paris the next day and was back in Canada that afternoon.
