Being in Beijing, we had to take a day trip to the Great Wall of China to witness the grandeur of this famous wall. We decided to go to the Mutianyu section of the great wall, approximately 75 kilometers from Beijing, which is known for its scenery and is apparently less crowded than the nearer Badaling section. We were lucky to have clear blue skies on the day of our tour and enjoyed spectacular views as we walked about five kilometers along the wall.
