We spent the last few days traveling to Tasmania where we met up with our two friends from Canada, Marc and Angela. We drove from Sydney to Melbourne in a borrowed Van (Vanessa) and slept comfortably in the improvised queen-sized bed in the back along the way. We stayed in Melbourne long enough to sort out our Chinese Visa applications, see a bit of the city and visit our friend Paul before flying to Tasmania.
Our time in Tassie was absolutely stress-free as Marc and Angela took care of us from the moment they picked us up at the airport until they dropped us off again five days later. We got to see Hobart and some of the Tasmanian country-side as we had a mini road-trip up the east coast to Freycinet National Park and back through the centre of the island. We even enjoyed picnic on top of Mount Wellington! We are now back in Sydney, packing for our flight to Denpasar, Indonesia tomorrow morning.
Hahaha, Chris looks like he is about to topple over onto the wallabies. Also: there was a fatty-like cat sleeping in the window of the Cat-Nap Inn yesterday.
